Your family is invited to be part of a new take on family faith learning at House of Prayer!!! Our goal is to create monthly events at House of Prayer (and perhaps other places) for families with small children to be together and grow in their faith.

Remember that baptismal day? God showed up and welcomed your child into God’s family! God promised to love your family! You made promises! We, your brothers and sisters in Christ, also made promises! These monthly times are our attempt to live into those promises with you!

All kids newborn up to 7-8 years old (roughly), and their families are welcome. The events will be on the 3rd Saturday of every month, from 10am to 12:30pm.

Our plan for those two and a half hours is very simple. We will play and fellowship together. I will lead a time of learning about a Bible story. We will learn the things our church does (praying, baptism, etc.). We will learn about worship. We will do crafts and outreach projects. Finally, we will finish each Saturday by eating together.

This is an opportunity to grow as a family! We invite your whole family to come. If parents can’t make it, grandparents and baptismal sponsors are perfect people to fill in. In fact, they can come with parents and kids! Ideally, these Saturdays are going to be starting points for more family conversation in your homes. Please plan for your whole family to come if possible.
